Architects build small spaces at the V&A.
Above: drawing for Beetle house by Teronobu Fujimori. I've always been a sucker for little houses that look like witches might live in them.
Below: Woodshed by Rural Studio. This is a 'noble, utilitarian structure' made from Welsh forest thinnings. I really like the way it's joined. The 3-D below doesn't
really do it justice, it was an immensely satisfying structure. Altogether a fantastic exhibition full of people having a lovely time and having a complex architectural experience whilst not thinking too much about it, which I always approve of.

I made this for Anna's birthday.

America 1953.
Charles Whitney, publisher: Henry, I'm about to start a magazine for Industrial Designers.
Henry Dreyfuss, designer: That's great! There are 14 of us.
GOOD STUFF HERE>>
Incidentally, I just checked Henry Dreyfuss Associates to see what the Henry in this story actually designed - the archetypal big black telephone used by the Bell telephone company from 1930-50 among other things - and their 'Historical Link' led to Wikipedia, which seems rather disrespectful to their illustrious founder.
